§ Mr. PondThe administration of the Child Support Agency is a matter for the Chief Executive, Mr. Doug Smith. He will write to the hon. Member.
Letter from Doug Smith to Mr. Paul Goodman, dated 13 January 2004:
In replying to your recent Parliamentary questions about the Child Support Agency the Secretary of State promised a substantive reply from the Chief Executive. In response to my reply to you dated 18 December 2003 you asked for the reason why it is not possible to provide information concerning anomalies, inaccuracies and incomplete data contained in records held by the Child Support Agency before the CSA's data migration strategy is finalised. That is because as part of finalising the data migration strategy we are continuing to research the likely number of "anomalies, inaccuracies and incomplete data" associated with each of the options being explored.
