To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what procedures his Department uses to ensure that service accommodation is managed and maintained to standards that are acceptable to the tenants. [146831]

I refer the hon. Member to the Defence Housing Executive's Key Targets for Financial Year 2003–04, set out in my written ministerial statement of 2 July 2003,Official Report, column 19WS. The Key Targets include allocation times, repairs, upgrades and customer satisfaction. Full details are set out in the DHE Corporate Plan 2003, copies of which are available in the Library of the House.
