The following 33 countries have deposited with the Director-General of the FAO instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession to the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture:

  • Kuwait

The treaty comes into force 90 days after the deposition of the 40th instrument of ratification. Acceptance, approval or accession and thus the matter of "repudiation" by any given country is not at present an issue.
