To ask the Minister for Women what the latest statistics are on the differential between male and female earnings for(a) men in the upper 10 per cent. of male earnings and women in the upper 10 per cent. of female earnings, (b) average male earnings and average female earnings and (c) men in the bottom 10 per cent. of male earnings and women in the bottom 10 per cent. of female earnings. The full-time hourly gender pay gap is 19.8 per cent. at the upper decile of the earnings distribution, and 9.11 per cent. at the bottom decile. The mean average hourly pay gap is 18.0 per cent. compared to a median average pay gap of 12.9 per cent.
