To ask the Deputy Prime Minister how his Department will identify which local authorities have made sufficient progress in meeting Warm Homes and Energy Conservation Act 2000 targets to be classed as excellent and exempted from requirement to submit future reports. [154644]

§ Phil Hope
Those authorities categorised as excellent under the Comprehensive Performance Assessment will no longer need to prepare reports under the Home Energy Conservation Act 1995 (HECA), but will be asked to provide a small amount of essential information that the Secretary of State needs for her statutory reporting duly under the HECA.
