§ Mr. Charles ClarkeOne member of staff from my Department (formerly The Department for Education and Employment) was investigated and suspended for allegedly claiming benefit while working during this 181W period. Following an investigation the Department was satisfied that there was no benefit fraud involved. We do not have records of the amounts involved.
No staff were dismissed, prosecuted, or convicted for involvement in benefit fraud in each of the last six years.
