To ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether enhanced body armour is issued to all British troops operating in Afghanistan. [152376]

Yes.

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what personal protection clothing is issued to British troops operating in Afghanistan.[152379]

Mr. Ingram

All troops in Afghanistan are issued with a Kevlar helmet and Enhanced Combat Body Armour. They are also issued a S10 respiration. Sufficient Individual Protection Equipment is also held in theatre for all deployed troops.

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what(a) quantity and (b) type of radar equipment is deployed for British troops to use in Afghanistan. [153037]
