§ Miss Melanie JohnsonIn order to make a decision about committing budgets to this vaccine we need to be certain that the vaccine is cost effective, that it can be introduced to the childhood programme safely and effectively and that we are confident of vaccine supplies. We will review the Department's spending plans when we are confident that the vaccine will deliver real benefits.
