§ Mr. Paul MurphyThe Director General and the Director of Operations of the Northern Ireland Prison Service are both entitled to one return flight per week as part of their employment contracts. Both avail themselves of approximately 46 flights per year. The average cost of a return flight for the Director General is £224 and £290 for the Director of Operations.
