Under what circumstances a person who is a British overseas citizen by virtue of Article 6(2) or 6(3) of the Hong Kong (British Nationality) Order 1986 can be registered as a British citizen under Section 4B of the British Nationality Act 1981. [HL61]
§ Baroness Scotland of AsthalProvided the British Overseas citizen has no other citizenship or nationality and has not after 4 July 2002 renounced, voluntarily relinquished or lost through action or inaction any citizenship or nationality, he or she will be entitled, on application, to registration as a British citizen under Section 4B of the British Nationality Act 1981.
