§ Mr. JamiesonTRANSEC has been able to approve and verify the passenger ship security plans within existing staff resources. The Maritime and Coastguard Agency has delegated responsibility for non-passenger (cargo) shipping and has recruited and trained 15 new security surveyors and five new office staff.
