§ Mr. MorleyThe Government have an on-going dialogue with the agriculture industry on a range of nitrogen fertilisers to compare how well they perform in GB soil and climatic conditions and their potential environmental impacts. Ammonium nitrate has for many years proved to be the most effective fertiliser for these conditions and the most environmentally acceptable.
