Whether they will give a breakdown by salary band of the number of employees in the defence information systems integrated project team. [HL2356]

The defence information infrastructure integrated project team is headed by a senior civil servant at 1-star level supported by 10 assistant directors, at civilian B1-level and military OF5 rank. As at 1 April 2004, the IPT employs some 470 full-time equivalent staff. The overall breakdown of staff numbers by civilian grade and military rank is as follows:
