§ Mr. StrawI have placed copies of the table showing countries in which the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is represented together with the location of both UK based and locally employed staff in the Library of the House. The annual cost of maintaining representation in each of these countries for 2003–04 has not yet been ascertained. The total expenditure by the FCO on overseas representation for previous years was as follows; 2001–02, £747 million 2002–03, £797 million.
