§ Dawn PrimaroloIn 2003–04 the climate change levy is expected to raise £0.8 billion. The deduction in contributions to the National Insurance Fund for 2003–04 to Compensate for the Climate Change levy is around £1.2 billion.
In 2003–04 the aggregates levy is expected to raise £0.3 billion. The deduction in contributions to the National Insurance Fund for 2003–04 to Compensate for the aggregates levy is around £0.4 billion.
It is not possible to calculate the effect of the reduction in employer NICs in respect of landfill tax due to the structural changes to secondary NICs in 1999.
