HC Deb 19 September 2003 vol 410 c1265W
Mr. Webb

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what assessment he has made of the effectiveness of using coloured spectacle lenses in the treatment of children with autistic spectrum disorders.[128701]

Dr. Ladyman

[holding answer 9 September 2003]: There is currently little evidence in this area and we are not aware of any widely accepted benefits to specific groups such as children on the autistic spectrum. We will, however, continue to consider the issue as evidence becomes available.
