§ Dr. LadymanThe latest figures on delayed discharge (June 2003), which have been placed in the Library, show that around 4,170 patients of all ages were occupying an acute bed with a delayed transfer at the end of the quarter. This is over 1,300 fewer patients than at the same time the previous year.
