§ Nigel GriffithsThe Government continue to monitor the effectiveness c f Part II of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act, in partnership with the construction industry umbrella bodies. The Act provides clearer payment terms and a statutory right to adjudication in construction contracts to reduce late and non-payment and resolve payment disputes.
The Government have supported the work of the Construction Umbrella Bodies Adjudication Task Group to produce guidance on the Adjudication process for users and adjudicators.
