of Northern Ireland, the Policing Board and the authorities at Belfast City Airport. The draft Order was withdrawn following consultation with the Chief Constable and the airport authorities.

I agreed to withdraw this Order once I had been assured that the Belfast City Airport Authority would make provision for an armed policing presence in accordance with the Chief Constable's recommendation.
