§ Mr. McNultyThe impact of bus deregulation was studied in the years following 1986. No recent studies have been undertaken but we continue to publish statistical data on kilometres operated, the cost of services, passenger satisfaction etc. We are in constant touch with the Passenger Transport Executives and major bus operators about local developments. Later today I shall be meeting representatives from Greater Manchester about bus regulation issues.
