Whether the Home Secretary has yet made a decision on whether or not to issue an order to proceed under the Extradition Act 1989 against the Iranian ex-ambassador to Argentina, Mr Hadi Soleimanpour. [HL4640]

The Argentinean request for Mr Soleimanpour's extradition remains under consideration. Bow Street Magistrates’ Court has set 23 October as the date by which a decision must be reached as to the issue of an order to proceed.
