However the most recent Education For All Global Monitoring Report published by UNESCO in November 2003 compares the Net Enrolment Rate, defined as the number of pupils in the official primary school age group enrolled in primary school as a percentage of the primary school age population, for the Asia regions (Central Asia, East Asia and the Pacific, and South and West Asia) between 1990 and 2000.
