§ Mr. HoonI have had discussions with and written to the US Defense Secretary about the progress through Congress of legislation to allow for a waiver for the United Kingdom from the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations, and emphasised the importance the UK attaches to the successful implementation of a waiver.
