To ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether his Department intends to introduce monitoring of sub-contractor performance in the A1 Yamamah programme. [137237]

Mr. Ingram

The Department has no contractual relationship with sub-contractors, whose performance is a matter for the A1 Yamamah Programme prime contractor, BAE Systems, and has no plans to introduce monitoring of sub-contractors.
