To ask the Deputy Prime Minister whether, under transitional provisions relating to the Local Government Act 2003, housing authorities currently repaying debt from housing capital receipts will have the transfer of these receipts to Central Government fully offset in the calculation of housing subsidy for the next two years. The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister will publish the proposals for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) subsidy for 2004–05 shortly.
