To ask the Secretary of State for International Development how much aid the UK gave to each of the five poorest nations in each of the last five years. [136189]

The five poorest nations have been identified as those with the lowest GNI per capita. This is calculated by dividing the Gross National Income by the mid year population. GNI per capita in US dollars is converted using the World Bank Atlas method.
