To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much was collected in fuel duty from(a) motorists and (b) road hauliers in (i) Scotland and (ii) the UK in each of the last five years. [136451]

During the past five calendar years the Exchequer raised the following amounts of fuel duty revenue in the UK:

The method by which fuel duty revenue is collected does not distinguish between different fuel consumers or geographic areas.
