§ Mr. BlunkettAll identified fingerprints were disclosed prior to the trial of Jawad Botmeh and Samar Alami, who were convicted of conspiracy to cause explosions. Letters claiming responsibility for the bombings were received from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) Jaffa Group. It was never established where the car bombs were assembled or who drove the cars. I have arranged for my officials to place copies of such transcripts of the original trial as are available in the Library. This should provide further information on the points raised.
