To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many meetings have been held in each of the last four years of the Government's Advisory Group on Motorcycling; and when a national motorcycling policy will be published. [114067]

Since its inception, the Advisory Group on Motorcycling has met as follows:

  • 1999–3 times
  • 2000–3 times
  • 2001–2 times
  • 2002–3 times
  • 2003–2 times so far.

The next meeting should be in September.

The Government expect to determine their strategy for motorcycling next year.
