The GNVQ grades D, M and P count as 7½, 6 and 5 points respectively at Intermediate level, and 4, 3 and 1½ points respectively at Foundation level. These points need to be multiplied by two for GNVQ Part One and by four for Full GNVQs. 3 All maintained schools designated as specialist/non-specialist as at September 2001 (excludes special schools). Includes grammar and secondary modern schools, which are specialist/non-specialist schools. These schools may also be included in the figures for grammar and secondary modern schools.
