§ Mr. McNultyThe Office of the Deputy Prime Minister will be consulting on a revision of planning policy guidance on renewable energy (PPG 22) later this year. When PPG 22 has been finalised, the Government will consider how best to support dissemination of Government policy on planning for renewable energy: In the meantime, the Renewables Advisory Board, chaired by my hon. Friend the Minister for Energy and Construction, is keen to support initiatives, including regional workshops, aimed at providing relevant information about renewable energy to a range of people.
