§ Tessa JowellI and my officials, have had discussions with the US State Department, UNESCO, and others on the effect on trade in antiquities of the lifting of sanctions on Iraq. We support UNESCO's aim to ensure that restrictions remain on the import of Iraqi cultural property once UN sanctions are lifted and we are discussing this in the Security Council.
