§ Beverley HughesInformation on the number of decisions to refuse entry that have been overturned by the Home Office in each of the last three years is not available and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost by examination of individual case files. The available information relating to appeals determined by the Immigration Appellate Authority (IAA) is given in the following table and shows that most appeals are dismissed.
