To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what the running costs in 2002 were of(a) his Ministers private offices, separately identifying expenditure on staff, and (b) his Department. [105988]

§ Mr. McCartney
The Department accounts for its expenditure on the basis of a financial year ending 31 March. Figures for the financial year April 2002–March 2003 are therefore not yet available.
