What is the budgeted expenditure of the Defence Export Services Organisation for the current and coming financial years; who heads the organisation; and whether they will list its priority markets. [HL2197]

The head of the Defence Export Services Organisation is Mr Alan Garwood. The net operating cost budget of the Defence Export Services Organisation for the current financial year is £13.715 million. Information for subsequent years is withheld under the Code of Practice on Access to Government Information, Exemption 2c, information that would harm the frankness and candour of internal discussion, projections and assumptions relating to internal policy analysis. I shall write to the noble Lord concerning priority markets and a copy of my letter will be placed in the Library of the House.
