To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what reasonable assumptions are referred to in paragraph 2.67 of the pre-Budget report 2002, on which the judgment that the public finances are sustainable in the longer term was based. [105329]

The assumptions are presented in Chapter 5 of the Long-term Public Finance Report, which was published alongside the pre-Budget report in November 2002.
