§ Mr. JamiesonThe Department was formed on 29 May 2002. Since its formation and up until 31 December 2002 the Secretary of State has carried out official duties on four occasions. He has of course been in Scotland on many other occasions in that time. In accordance with exemptions 2 and 7 of the 'Code of Practice on Access to Government Information', it is not the normal practice of Governments to release details of specific meetings or their content, as some of these discussions may have taken place on a confidential basis.
