HC Deb 24 March 2003 vol 402 c78W
Rev. Martin Smyth

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what provision has been made for treatment of children with scoliosis. [103817]

Jacqui Smith

A range of services for the treatment of scoliosis is available across the country and spinal corrective surgery for children is undertaken at over 40 hospitals. A need to consider the organisation and disposition of resources necessary for treatment has been recognised and this is being taken forward by a project board, which is currently reviewing provision.
