The Court has ceased to write explanatory letters in these circumstances as part of its attempts to streamline its procedures in order to deal with its backlog of cases (35,000, and rising at the rate of 1,000 per month). Cases declared inadmissible by a Committee of three judges are often vexatious and clear-cut.
