In each of the last two financial years, the British Government have distributed aid to Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Total UK expenditure for each country, including the estimates for 2002–03, is as follows. As the hon. Gentleman will know, long-term expenditure in DRC is confined to humanitarian and conflict resolution interventions.
