§ Mr. IngramThe future of the Defence Export Services Organisation (DESO) was considered as part of the Strategic Defence Review in 1998. At that time a number of options were assessed, including privatisation, but it was concluded that the value of DESO support for defence exports stem from its being an integrated part of MOD and, hence, Government.
