To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the(a) establishment and (b) strength is of the Joint NBC Regiment. [102555]

On the 1 February 2003 the strength of the Joint NBC Regiment was 498 against an establishment of 343. These figures reflect the fact that the Joint NBC Regiment has been augmented for Operation Telic.
