To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent discussions he has had with the Ministry of Defence regarding commemoration of 300 years of British sovereignty in Gibraltar in 2004. [101414]

Mr. MacShane

As yet there have been no formal discussions between the FCO and the Ministry of Defence on the 300th anniversary of the capture of Gibraltar in 1704 by British forces.
