§ Ms BlearsA public consultation on the proposed reform of the Welfare Food Scheme was held between October and December 2002. Dairy industry interests accounted for 15 per cent, of the total 500 written responses. The Department of Health also held five meetings with dairy industry representatives during the consultation period.
A report on the outcome of the consultation will be published later in March 2003.
