To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make it his policy to withdraw British troops from military action where an ally uses(a) biological and (b) chemical weapons. [99669]

Our NATO allies are State Parties to both the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC) and have renounced the use of such weapons.
