§ Dr. HowellsThe Cabinet Office informed the Department for Transport in advance of a study its Better Regulation Task Force proposed into independent regulators including traffic commissioners. The study was launched in March 2003. The Department will be invited to comment in due course on the factual findings of the study about the transport sector.
