§ Melanie JohnsonFrom 1 January to 24 June 2003, the Department received 248 letters and 75 parliamentary questions on tobacco control. Recent initiatives covered have included the introduction of new warnings on tobacco packs, the comprehensive ban on tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship and the Department's education and media campaigns.
