To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if she will ensure that implementation of the European Union waste electrical and electronic equipment directive in respect of the re-use of printer ink and toner cartridges will encourage an expansion of re-use. [118082]

The implementation of this Directive does not affect printer cartridges.
