§ Mr. McNultyThe annex on Wind Energy—including paragraph 47—in Policy Planning Guidance Note 22 contains guidelines about various factors which should be taken into consideration in relation to wind turbine location, including noise and visual intrusion. Where protection for residents against any such factors is considered necessary, assessments will be made on a case by case basis and, where appropriate, planning conditions can be attached to the planning permission.
