To ask the Minister of State, Department for International Development in which countries, and to what purposes, the UN's Mine Action Service are putting their most recent allocation of funds from the Department. [117188]

Pursuant to my written answer of 10 June 2003,Official Report, column 773W, I apologise for an error in the data given. The amount allocated to Mine Action in Sudan was £1,133,333 not £2,333,333 as originally stated. The following table gives the corrected figure.

The United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) has allocated funds provided by DFID during the past and current financial year to country programmes, as follows:
